Thank you to all of my loyal clients, colleagues and blog followers for being a valued part of Crave Health. Please note the following changes and updates for Crave Health this year.
1) General Rate Increase
I, along with my medical billing team have worked hard since opening in 2008 to keep nutrition services affordable for individuals and families that may or may not be covered by insurance. We are proud to offer some of the lowest private pay rates in the greater Seattle area and intend to continue to keep nutritional counseling as affordable as possible. Crave Health private pay rates are currently set at $100 per hour and $50 per half hour appointment. These rates will be increased to $110 per hour and $55 per half hour effective on May 1st 2011 in order to cover operating costs and continue to offer the following options:
Sliding Scale Fees: Based on income, private pay rates slide to accommodate those in financial hardship, students or those that have used all of their insurance benefits for the year. Click here for our sliding scale fees.
Preferred Discounts: Discount of 20% on private pay fees to those with minimal insurance coverage and a high need for intensive nutritional counseling.
Free Birthday Appointment: Each of my clients receives a birthday card from me during their birthday month good for 1 free follow up session that must be used in that 6-month period.
This is Crave Health’s first rate increase and will only effect those who are currently paying out of pocket for services, as insurance companies have set reimbursement rates regardless of the practitioners private rate.
2) Supplements Available at a Discount
Crave Health has clinical relationships with several high-quality and researched supplement companies and will be offering all supplements at a discount of 15% off of Manufacturers’ Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). I carry brands that I personally take and stand by.
